Our task is to produce a high-quality phototojournalism documentary around the homeless in Winchester. It will focus primarily on the soup kitchen run by the Salvation Army but will also include various interviews with those who attend.

Is there enough done for the homeless?

Are there more in society heading for this life?

What are the opinions of those living on the streets?

Who is to blame?

We aim to tackle such questions.

Our 'Project Workbook' is a week by week guide to our planning, shooting and research - as well as detailed information on the topics we have been studying. You can also check out 'Images' to see a Flickr slideshow of some of our favourite photographs from the shoot.

They need a voice, and we plan to give them one. A huge thankyou to those at the Soup Kitchen for making us feel so welcome, and to the homeless themselves for being fearless in front of the camera.
